This is according to PSC Franchise Planning Manager Teresa Jimenez, who said that the expansion plan is in response to the growing demand for 24-hour convenience shopping not only in Metro Manila, but also in neighboring provinces. "We are already fast-tracking our expansion into the provinces, coinciding with the continued rapid growth of our stores in Metro Manila," stated Jimenez. Jimenez added that out of the 70 new stores, 35 would be opened in the provinces, specifically in the town commercial centers of Batangas, "The provinces are the new playing fields for the industry with a growing number of interested entrepreneurs and businesses who want to convert and become franchisees of 7-Eleven in their respective areas. Already our stores have grown to 51 in the South and 23 outlets in the North," Jimenez said.
