Pancake House, Inc. (PHI) eyes for continued expansion this year as the company plans to build more branches for all its business units.
PHI said its flagship brand Pancake House will add seven more branches in 2007 to end the year with 72 restaurants.
Pancake House, a leader in the casual dining segment, is looking at key locations outside of Metro Manila, including Bulacan, Baguio, Subic, Tagaytay, Laguna, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, and Davao.
Another fast growing business unit, Dencio’s, will increase its restaurants from 25 outlets to 35 within the next two years, PHI said. It added Dencio’s will continue to scout for franchisees to expand its network. PHI added Teriyaki Boy, the currently leading Japanese brand in the casual dining industry, will add nine branches in 2007 to end the year with 35 restaurants.
Teriyaki Boy was acquired by the Group in 2005 and from only 10 branches, PHI managed to grow the restaurant chain to 26 in just over a year.
